Charter
Moon Laboratories was established for the purpose of conducting its work.
The nature of that work — which spans the disciplines of record, manufacture, inquiry, and creation — has been the subject of considerable speculation. Such speculation is not discouraged. It has also, in every recorded instance, proven inconclusive.
Moon Laboratories is organized into eight primary divisions. Each division is responsible for a distinct domain of enterprise. The divisions operate in parallel, as they have always operated. They do not require explanation.
The mandate of Moon Laboratories is self-sustaining. It requires no external authorization. The organization answers to its own charter, which is this document, and which has not been amended since the date of its establishment, and which will not require amendment.
